He works as a Level I Medical Director at the Fondazione Toscana G. Monasterio / CNR (National Research Council) of Pisa and Massa for Medical and Public Health Research (an internationally renowned center of excellence); employed with a permanent contract for the discipline of Cardiology, Medical Area and Medical Specialties. He carries out scientific clinical and healthcare research at the Fondazione Regione Toscana “G. Monasterio”/CNR of Pisa.

First operator for cardiac stimulation activity and for electrophysiology activity (interventional arrhythmology) for pediatric age and for adult patients: pacemakers: single-chamber, dual-chamber, cardiac resynchronization systems and leadless stimulation systems; intracavitary and subcutaneous defibrillation systems. Transesophageal and endocavitary diagnostic electrophysiological studies, intracavitary ablations of arrhythmias: supraventricular and ventricular); specialized arrhythmological outpatient activity (including channelopathies and syncope evaluation).
